Our Ice Cream

We serve super premium Double Rainbow Gourmet Ice Cream which got its start in 1976 in San Francisco. After 40+ years, their mission remains the same: create the most delicious ice cream on the planet for everyone to enjoy, using only the finest & great tasting ingredients.

Shaved Ice

We are the only location in Benicia where you can cool off and enjoy a delicious shaved ice! With over 18 flavors to choose from, customize your shaved ice for a refreshing treat. Want to kick it up a notch? Enjoy it Hawaiian style with ice cream and condensed milk!

Coffee

We are proud to serve an amazing blend of coffee from the renowned local roaster at Moschetti’s. With a medium-dark roast and a big body, our custom blend goes great with our doughnuts or enjoyed on its own! All espresso drinks are available as well including Mochas, Lattes, and Affogatos!

Bubble Tea

A sweet, milky treat with chewy goodness! We have 16 milk tea flavors to choose from along with 8 topping options including the traditional tapioca boba pearls, strawberry heart jelly, and mango popping boba.

Fundraising Fun-daes!

We are super excited to launch our new ice cream fun-dae menu! With Double Rainbow Cafe being a part of Benicia for 27 years, we wanted to honor our wonderful city by including locally-themed sundaes. We are happy to donate 15% of all sales from our fun-daes to Families in Transition of Benicia to help Benician families in need. Local sundaes helping local families!

A color explosion! French Vanilla ice cream topped with rainbow chocolate rocks, rainbow spinkles, and drizzled with a decadent rainbow white chocolate sauce.

A hot sludge sundae made to generate the energy you need! Cappuccino Chocolate Crunch ice cream drizzled with hot fudge and topped with chocolate-covered espresso beans. Garnished with a wafer ‘stack’ that no one can miss!

A magical sundae! Bubblegum and Taro ice cream topped with tiny marshmallows, cotton candy crunch, and finished with a mini sugar uni-cone. A favorite of all ages!

Listen closely, and you’ll hear the sound of 1,000 goats gnawing away in Benicia’s greenbelts. This Rocky Road and Mint Chip sundae is drizzled with chocolate sauce and garnished with a gummy worm. Topped with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkle goat fertilizer.

Paying homage to part of Benicia’s unique history, this sweet and salty sundae’s Salted Caramel ice cream is lavished with caramel sauce and topped with salty pretzel crumbles.

A hot AND cold treat! French Vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate and marshmallow sauce, topped with graham cracker crumbs inside a sweet brioche bun. Then we grill it to perfection!
